PINA
Pina Kahlaf is the QUEEN of sexy hair with a passion for empowering the hair industry by educating salon owners and their staff. With 40 years of experience in the hair game, and over 20 years of experience co-owing a busy, vibrant salon in Camberwell and has helped 100s of apprentices become qualified, happy and successful stylists. Pina is now ready to share her secrets in order to help the hairdressing industry grow.
IN-SALON TRAINING
No matter how big or small your salon might be, HBS is more than happy to train your entire team in the art of hair. Best of all, you can choose whether to visit our salon in Camberwell or we can come to you! These sessions usually run from 3.5 to 4 hours and are super interactive. With videos, workbooks, and live models in attendance, this fun, hands-on session is tailored specifically for group learning.
MICHELLE
Michelle McGubbon is an award-winning entrepreneur and co-founder of the Hair Body & Soul group. With a passion for hair and business, Michelle has helped thousands of small business owners increase their revenue and personal earnings by teaching profitable business solutions. Michelle’s secret power is her ability to combine hair and business seamlessly and she is now ready to share her strategies with you to help your business grow.
1-ON-1 SUPPORT
Perfect for upksilling a single stylist from your salon. As the sole student, you get to enjoy our undivided attention. You’ll also have the option of working with a live model or a mannequin head. Just keep in mind that a live model will receive 1 – 2 haircuts, whereas a mannequin can handle 2 to 3. One-on-one training sessions take place at our salon in Toorak, or yours, and run for approximately 3.5- 4 hours.

Learn how to fit in and seamlessly find your place in our industry. This course will show you what to expect, salon expectations, nurturing your people, work ethic, and so much more.
By gaining a deeper understanding of the industry, this course will empower first year apprentices before they even step foot in a salon.

2nd Year Apprentice
SOLID FOUNDATIONS 2.0
You’ve started your journey, now what? This course is designed to help you refine your niche, pick a speciality, build your name, and grow your confidence! Knowing who you want to be is crucial to success in this industry.
Some of the core modules in this course include: building clientele, consulting, showing initiative, team dynamics and of course levelling up.

3rd Year Apprentice
NEXT MOVES 3.0
It’s crunch time! You’ve begun establishing yourself and laying solid foundations, so what’s next? This course is all about professional and personal growth. We address fears, discuss mentors, high-quality support, putting it all together!
Some of the core modules in this course include: building even more clientele, confidence vs. cockiness, salon identity, how to start, and going it on your own!

DRY CUTTING MASTERCLASS
Dry Cutting is one of the hottest trends however, most hairdressers are intimidated by the thought of it. Pina created this master class to remove the fear factor by teaching you her ‘go-to’ techniques and signature haircuts. This masterclass is suitable for all levels.
